Gypsy Rose Blanchard met her first husband in prison. Ryan Anderson picked her up on the day she was released, and for a while there, it seemed like things were going well. But three months into their marriage, they divorced and she reunited with her ex, Ken Urker. Now that she’s pregnant with Ken’s baby, Ryan’s having trouble accepting it.

“Gypsy told him immediately when she found it was Ken’s baby. He didn’t believe it at first,” an insider told Us Weekly in an interview published on July 10, 2024, adding that Ryan has been “very polite” about keeping Gypsy’s news private. “He has been more than fair and amicable to her. That’s what hurts him the most.”
Apparently, Ryan still holds some feelings towards Gypsy. “He’s still partly in love with her [and] he feels like Ken stole his life,” the insider added. “He’s been very down about this. It’s been very hard for him to get over her, but he’s OK.”
Gypsy announced she was pregnant on July 9. “I know the rumors have been flying around for quite some time now, and I’m happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant,” she said in a YouTube video. “Ken and I are expecting our very first child come January 2025.”
Gypsy and Ken were briefly engaged while she was still in prison for conspiring to have her mom killed. (If you need a refresher on that, Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a rare form of abuse in which a caregiver exaggerates or induces illness in a person under their care to gain sympathy and attention. With the assistance of her boyfriend at the time, Nicholas Godejohn, Gypsy killed her mother to escape the abuse.)
In June 2024, Blanchard confirmed she and Ken had gotten back together. “After reconnecting earlier this month, we realized that our love for each other is simply undeniable, and life is too short to not take a chance,” she said. “We have a history that made for the perfect foundation for a new beginning. We are together and in a wonderful place in our relationship. We know it is going to be a long road ahead but are excited for the future.”
