Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Come True Set Review & Swatches

The Charlotte Tilbury Mini Pillow Talk Blush and Glow Beauty Highlighter Wand Set ($24) is a limited-edition, Holiday 2024 gift set that recently went on sale so I decided to grab it. The set was originally $32 and is now on sale for $24. It includes a mini Mini Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk (soft rose gold highlight) and a Mini Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk (matte nude-pink) (.16 oz each). I’m not a matte blush kind of girl so when the Matte Beauty Blush Wands launched I wasn’t terribly interested in purchasing them. Fast forward and I actually now own three of them! I decided to haul this set for travel as it’s so tiny it can easily fit in my carry on bag. The set is great if you haven’t actually tried Charlotte’s Beauty Wands as its perfect little introduction to them. I’ve read reviews with a lot of hate on this set but I had no issues with it. I read it had patchy application and that you couldn’t squeeze the blush out but I had none of those issues. None of that happened to me!

Let’s break down what you get! You’ll get pretty small tubes of Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk and a Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk. These are .16 oz each compared to the original sizes which are 0.4 oz and $42 each. At the sale price each wand is $12 and almost contains half the contents of the regular size (it’s about 1 oz less) which makes this not too bad a deal. Although, I will say you can run through these very quickly at this size but they are pigmented so you don’t need a ton of product.

Each wand has an attached sponge applicator allowing for easy dot and blend application. They also twist open and closed which means you’ll never have issues with the product leaking. The set comes in a cute pink box with gold accents if you’re gifting it.

Pillow Talk isn’t everyone’s fav shade but I really love the color. It’s a flattering nude pink but that being said, if you have a warmer skin tone or darker you might want to skip this set as the Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand really doesn’t show up well on deeper skin tones in my opinion. You’ll have no problems with the Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk which is a beautiful soft, glowing rose gold highlight but the blush is a nude pink that looks best on a light-medium skin tone.

Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk and Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk Mixed Together, Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk and Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand in Pillow Talk

The Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand has a thin, super creamy formula. I really feel like it sets to a matte finish! It’s quite moisturizing, blends super easily, and feels weightless on my skin but doesn’t have a powdery or silky set. If anything it almost feels a tiny bit dewy. It has no sparkle, shimmer, or glow of anything kind so it is a very flat nude pink. The Pillow Talk Beauty Light Wand in Pillow Talk is where you’ll get your glow from. This is a gel formula that’s equally creamy and blends easily onto cheeks. I went really subtle with it on my cheeks in my picture in this post as it can really produce a mega glow! I wore it with the Pillow Talk Beautyverse Love Palette which recently went on sale that I also, grabbed and I think they look quite nice together!

If you’re new to the world of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Wands or just want a fun travel this the Charlotte Tilbury Mini Pillow Talk Blush and Glow Beauty Highlighter Wand Set is a nice little pick up! I’m pretty sure Sephora will have their Sale on Sale on Boxing Day which is 20% off sale items so if you can score that during the sale it makes an even nicer deal! Did you pick this set up?
