The same house was the target of a 2018 robbery that was featured in an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Dorit was in the house with her two children Jagger and Phoenix when the burglars raided her house. “Both suspects threatened to kill her as she pleaded for her life and the lives of her young children,” an LAPD statement read. “In fear for her safety, the victim complied with the suspects demands and directed them to valuables. The suspects took high-end handbags, jewelry, and watches.” The robbers reportedly stole items worth up to $1 million.
In November 2023, The Sun also reported that Dorit and her husband did not pay their taxes to the California IRS. A tax lien that was filed in June 2021 shows that she has an outstanding balance of $90,269 due to the IRS, while the English businessman owes a combined total of $986,887 in taxes.
