I Want To Live In a World Where Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer Still Exists

I really want to live in a world where Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer still exists. I saw my shade on E-bay a few months ago and I was tempted to buy it but it was $55 dollars and I was a little unsure how fresh it was. But I was feeling so desperate I decided why not make an offer on it? So, I went and offered $30 bucks which was above retail price but the seller refused and said they were firm on $55. Sheesh…! People sure are out there flipping stuff for crazy prices realizing how desperate folks like I am. But I was logical and skipped it and I’m glad I did because here we are with a new Bare Minerals BarePro 16HR All Over Skin-Perfecting Matte Concealer Mineral SPF 25. Yeah, I know, Bare Skin Skin Complete Coverage was a whole other formula and finish but I have hopes that Bare Minerals BarePro 16HR All Over Skin-Perfecting Matte Concealer Mineral SPF 25. might just be something I like.

I’ve sort of been done writing off matte concealers for a very long time now. As you may know, I use concealer under my eyes only and of course, as someone with drier eyes and finer lines I do prefer a hydrating formula. But in all my years using concealer I’ve learned that hydrating means a lot less pigmented. The other thing I learned was that I can use matte concealer under my eyes if I prep really well. I’m an avid Tarte Shape Tape Concealer user and it doesn’t crease on me in the least and always looks smooth and natural. And yes, that’s totally a matte formula. Of course, it really depends as sometimes no matter how much you prep you will run into a formula or two that’s a bit too matte, too dry, and does crease into those pesky lines.

But I try anyway, because I realize not all matte formulas are the same and some are pretty great. The question is, will Bare Minerals BarePro 16HR All Over Skin-Perfecting Matte Concealer Mineral SPF 25 be one?

There are quite a few fans of the original Bare Skin Complete Coverage that are salty about it being gone. Lots of people wish Bare Minerals would bring it back but sadly, it hasn’t happened and Bare Minerals keeps reinventing new formulas that haven’t quite hit with fans. The new BarePro 16HR All Over Skin-Perfecting Matte Concealer Mineral SPF 25 promises fill coverage and up to 16 hours of wear without creasing or transferring. And yes, they absolutely recommend it for under eye use. How much is barePro 16HR Wear All-Over Skin-Perfecting Matte Concealer? The price is $30 which is a considerable jump from the $20 they were charging for Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer. But times have changed since 2015 and prices have gome up considerably.

According to Bare Minerals this as a treatment as well and keps to reduce dark circles in as little as seven days due to the active levels of Niacinamide in the formula. I’m not a big believer in skincare in my concealer or foundation and I doubt it will treat dark circles in 7 days but it’s a nice thought…! I will say the fact it contains SPF is a plus as so little concealers do!

I’m looking forward to trying out the new Bare Minerals BarePro 16HR All Over Skin-Perfecting Matte Concealer Mineral SPF 25. How about you?
