Jennifer Lawrence is the queen of quiet luxury. Her ‘fits may be simple, but something about them just feels expensive. Probably because they are. Even though she usually wears classic pieces, they’re almost always from pricey brands like The Row. And honestly, paying top dollar for high-quality staples is the dream. But if you’re a normal person like me, you’re not willing to spend J-Law amounts of money to look chic.
Since her outfits tend to be pretty simple, it’s easy to find dupes. And even though it contradicts the main principle of the quiet luxury aesthetic (but honestly who cares), you can definitely fake having high-end basics. Thankfully items like her fan-favorite woven tote bag are available to buy for a cheaper price, so you can look fabulous without having to eat ice soup until your next payday.
If you’re obsessed with J-Law’s street style, you might’ve saw that Marie Claire ID’ed her woven tote bag. And because I’ve been having dreams about this bag, I was honestly pretty disappointed to see it costs $340. I mean, I love this bag, but not exactly enough to justify spending that much. But to my surprise I found a more affordable option. Even though it’s almost half the price, it’s just as chic as her’s.
Rest assured there’s no doomscrolling necessary, because I found this dupe from Madewell at a much more reasonable price point than J-Law’s exact woven tote. And personally, I like its dark brown color a lot more than the white. J-Law’s airport look is so iconic I might just recreate it with this Madewell tote. I think I’d look just as expensive but for way less, which is always a win in my book.
