Nicole Brown Simpson‘s last words to Kris Jenner are a heartbreaking reminder of the kind of friend she was. Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were found brutally murdered in 1994 two years after divorcing OJ Simpson and Jenner watched on as her ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, assisted in OJs defense and ultimately won his acquittal.

Met with overwhelming evidence in court, as well as knowledge of his abusive behavior towards Nicole throughout their relationship, Jenner has suggested she believed OJ was guilty of killing her friend. Now, with Lifetime’s two-part documentary The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, Jenner has revealed Nicole Brown’s last words to her.

What were Nicole Brown’s last words?

Nicole Brown’s last words to pal Kris Jenner were revealed in Lifetime’s documentary. Two days before Nicole’s death their mutual friend Faye had relapsed into substance abuse. “She said she loved me, she wanted me to be healthy,” Faye recalled in the series.

“Nicole said, ‘OK, we are going to visit Faye and make sure that somebody’s there every day, so she made a schedule for us,” Jenner recalled. “I remember it was Nicole’s day; Nicole and I spoke and she goes, ‘Faye’s having a good day, I’m leaving. It’s your day tomorrow.’ That was the last time I spoke to her.”

Kris was pregnant at the time of the trial and was married to Caitlyn (born Bruce) Jenner. Kendall Jenner, who was born a month later, revealed that her middle name was a tribute in a Snapchat video. “My middle name is Nicole. [It’s] after Nicole Brown Simpson because that was my mom’s best friend,” she said, “And I’m honored to have this name.”

Kris’ daughter Kim Kardashian also revealed that it was hard to navigate family life amid the trial; on one side was Nicole’s best friend, and on the other, their father defending the man who killed her. “We didn’t really know what to believe or whose side to take as kids ’cause we didn’t want to hurt one of our parents’ feelings,” she told David Letterman on his show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix.

In a subsequent civil trial in 1997, Simpson was found liable for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman and was ordered to pay millions in damages to their families. Years later, he was convicted of armed robbery in Las Vegas after leading five men, including two with guns, in a confrontation with sports collectibles dealers at a casino hotel. He served nine years in prison before being released in 2017. Simpon died in 2024 at age 76 after a brief battle with cancer.
