Where Is Randy Fowler Now?

He may have been exonerated in two different courts in the US and UK, but Kevin Spacey’s brother has strong feelings about his sibling’s sexual assault allegations. In a new documentary series Spacey Unmasked, another 10 men publicly accused the actor of historical sexually predatory behavior.

If you or someone you know has been a victim of sexual abuse, text “STRENGTH” to the Crisis Text Line at 741-741 to be connected to a certified crisis counselor.

The American Beauty actor was outspoken about Spacey Unmasked, which “is a forensic look at a man who was once one of the most admired and respected actors in the world. Featuring never-seen-before interviews and archives, the series examines his life from childhood to early success on Broadway and subsequent meteoric rise to stardom. Kevin Spacey’s spectacular fall from grace came amid allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior.”

The description continues, “In 2023 Spacey was acquitted of sexual offenses against four men in a U.K. trial. This two-part series will investigate Spacey’s conduct and talks to multiple men unconnected to that case about their experiences with Kevin Spacey, almost all of whom have never spoken before.”

During the trial, one of Spacey‘s accusers described the Oscar-winning actor as a “slippery, snaky” predator whom good-looking young men were warned to avoid. Here’s what Kevin Spacey’s brother has said about his sibling.

Kevin Spacey’s brother

Kevin Spacey’s brother is Randy Fowler (the House of Cards actor changed his last name to Spacey for professional reasons) and is a Rod Stewart impersonator. Since 2017, Spacey has been accused, charged, tried, and twice exonerated in courts in the US and the UK.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Fowler detailed the brothers’ “monstrous” father, who was a Neo-Nazi that beat his children with a riding crop. The children were also said to have suffered years of sexual abuse at the hands of their dad—a childhood that Fowler said unequivocally changed Spacey’s behavior.

Kevin Spacey speaks to press after leaving court at Southwark Crown Court on July 26, 2023 in London, England. The U.S. actor who starred in the popular TV series House of Cards and the film The Usual Suspects has been cleared of all sexual assault charges brought by men during his time as Artistic Director of The Old Vic Theatre.

“He’s never been honest with himself. He ran away from the truth when he got into acting and he’s been running away from it ever since,” he told the Mail. “He hides behind his characters because he can’t be himself. He doesn’t even know who Kevin Fowler is … He is totally dead inside. He has no remorse, no feelings. It’s all about self-gratification at any cost. It was so painful to listen to these gentlemen talk about their encounters with my brother.”

In 2017, Spacey faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct and assault that surfaced during the rise of the #MeToo movement. Actor Anthony Rapp accused Spacey of making a sexual advance toward him in 1986 when Rapp was just 14 years old. As Rapp’s story gained attention, several others stepped forward with similar claims against Spacey, alleging inappropriate behavior and sexual misconduct.

Spacey faced a series of legal challenges following these allegations. In 2018, he was charged with indecent assault and battery in Massachusetts. He pleaded not guilty, and the case was eventually dropped in 2019 when the accuser declined to testify.

The most significant of these legal proceedings took place in the UK, where Spacey faced multiple charges of sexual offenses. The trial, which took place in London, ended in July 2023 with Spacey being acquitted of all charges. During the trial, he testified in his own defense, and the jury found him not guilty. Despite his acquittal, the allegations have had a lasting impact on Spacey’s career and public image.

Ahead of the premiere of Spacey Unmasked, the embattled House of Cards actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to slam “dying network” Channel 4 for what he described as a “desperate attempt for ratings.” Spacey also called out the network for not giving him ample time to respond to the claims made against him in the documentary.

“Over the last week, I have repeatedly requested that Channel 4 afford me more than 7 days to respond to allegations made against me dating back 48 years and provide me with sufficient details to investigate these matters,” he wrote on X. “Channel 4 has refused on the basis that they feel that asking for a response in 7 days to new, anonymized and non-specific allegations is a “fair opportunity” for me to refute any allegations made against me.”

Spacey Unmasked is available to stream on Channel 4 which is available to stream in the US with a VPN. Here’s how to watch it for free.
